People who closely follow the WITH DOG page know that they’ve had some unpleasant experiences where restaurants cheerfully allow dogs but then indicate they’re not allowed to eat.
‘Dogs allowed’ and ‘dogs welcome’ are clearly two different things, we’ve learned that by now.

However, last Friday Sophia was at the Opcanner Anker and she was pleasantly surprised.
Sophia hit the jackpot again.
Nothing was too much to ask and the Chef personally served her and asked if she had enjoyed it!
In his personal life, this chef rescues all kinds of animals like dogs, cats, and horses (can we give a thousand paws!?).
But the service staff was also completely there for Sophia and she thoroughly enjoyed the food and so did we!
She got treats, personal service and customized dishes, water, and much more. So the 4 paws were easily earned and they were extremely happy with it!

The food was excellent, you could cut the steak with a butter knife and the fries were truly freshly made! We rarely encounter that.

You can take wonderful walks around the harbor and since Sophia is completely crazy about boats, that was an extra plus for her!
