The Winter Terrace is amazing

Don’t let your terrace plans fall through

Photo below: I came across this terrace chair during one of my walks, and it inspired me for the winter terrace. I love Christmas🌲 and winter is part of that, which requires precautions for your terrace. We’d ideally like to sit on the terrace 365 days a year, and that might just be possible.

We hit the terrace 🍷🍷

The winter terrace, that is; we consulted with Horeca & Friends and came up with the following tips 🎅🌲

Warm winter terrace tip 1:

Your terrace bench in winter outfit: summer cushions make way for thick sheepskins, wool cushions, warm plaids and blankets, and these days even heated terrace cushions. Snow or no snow, a wooden sled, skates, or skis against the wall are great atmosphere makers. Wrap a plaid around you and enjoy those winter sunbeams. The sun does wonders for your immune system, which can really use a boost in the winter.

Warm winter terrace tip 2:

Are you someone for an electric terrace heater or rather a fire bowl, fire pit, or outdoor fireplace where you burn wood yourself? In any case, you’ll be sitting nice and warm by the 🔥

Warm winter terrace tip 3:

Make them yourself: scented lights. Fill squeezed orange halves with candle wax and a wick. By poking cloves into the rim, the peel spreads a spicy scent.

More and more restaurants and grand cafés now have covered winter terraces. Extensive dining, trendy snacks, or just relaxing with a cup of coffee or hot chocolate? Plenty of cozy cafés, brasseries, restaurants, and hip coffee shops. Welcome to one of the many cozy terraces and who knows, we might run into each other ☕🍵
